Harriet (lookalike)

Hubby said I made a glaring error in my previous post by not putting in a picture of Harriet. So this is for all of you who either haven’t seen Die Hard with a Vengeance, don’t want to, or are just curious without having to look it up. šŸ˜‰

yugoThis is obviously not Harriet, neither is it Harvey, Hubby’sĀ  1990 Yugo 45 as I can’t put my hands on photos of either.
We had a lot of fun in these cars, and if they hadn’t started to cost us serious money to get through the MOT, then we would probably still have them.

When all you car buffs have stopped laughing, may I say
‘Never judge a book by its cover’
(especially if you are black BMW owners) šŸ˜€

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! In November 2020, we lost our beloved Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney. We now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of Kizzy, my GSD when Hubby and I first met so had hers done too. On February 24th 2022 we were blessed to find Maya, a 13 week old GSD pup who has made her own place in our hearts. You can follow our training methods, photos and her growth in my blog posts. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

great post! I had a ’95 Hundai that just kept going and going… I think my ex-husband may still own it. It may be a 20 yr old car, but we rarely had to make repairs on it until last year and even then, the costs were reasonable.

    • Thanks. We loved those little cars, and Harvey got a speeding ticket the day we sold it. Hell, we didn’t know it could do 80! (Good job we always put a time on the document we send off when selling a vehicle).

*laughs* I’ve heard those little cars can pack a punch when they need to… 80! Wow!
