Christmas Shopping

Today is Monday.
The first day of the week.
A normal day.
Wash Day.
Shopping Day.

BUT WAIT………………………………………..

It’s Tenner Monday.

Mad Dash Monday.

Let the fun begin.

We did our ten pound dash today, parking the car (with the dog inside) outside the bank, going in to get said tenners, then going off in opposite directions.
We had an hour.

There are a lot of shops in town, so lots of choice and a lot of legwork.
I kept within budget and was pleased with my purchases.

I bought Hubby…..
Blah, a set of Blah Blah, a pair of Blah Blah Blah and a fair few blahs and blahs as well.
Can’t tell you, as he reads my blog.

Footnote:
Maggie doesn’t mind being left in the car, though we don’t do it often as she’s usually walking with us. As it turned out we were only gone for about 30 minutes and she was curled up in her blanket fast asleep when we got back.

About pensitivity101

I am a retired number cruncher with a vivid imagination and wacky sense of humour which extends to short stories and poetry. I love to cook and am a bit of a dog whisperer as I get on better with them than people sometimes! We have recently lost our beloved dog Maggie who adopted us as a 7 week old pup in March 2005. We decided to have a photo put on canvas as we had for her predecessor Barney, and now have three pictures of our fur babies on the wall as we found a snapshot of my GSD so had hers done too. From 2014 to 2017 'Home' was a 41 foot narrow boat where we made strong friendships both on and off the water. We were close to nature enjoying swan and duck families for neighbours, and it was a fascinating chapter in our lives. We now reside in a small bungalow on the Lincolnshire coast where we have forged new friendships and interests.

This is not for me, as I can’t dash anywhere anymore and wouldn’t get much!
