Eight women attend one of Britain’s toughest survival schools to challenge themselves and conquer their fears. They learn that there is more to survival than passing the course.
I remember this film from 1985, not only for the death slide, but also the ” ten bloody stumps where her piggies used to be”.
Other than that, I don’t recall very much of the film or actors/actresses therein apart from I did laugh quite a lot at her escapades.
We both went to see our new dentist today.
What has that got to do with the above film I hear you ask.
Well, unlike our other chap in Lincolnshire in his white coat, white shirt and black trousers, our dentist was wearing pink pjs.
She was also very young, and sympathetic to my nerves just as the receptionist had said she would be last week.
Hubby was given the option of coming in with me, and jokingly said he would so that he could bar the door to stop me from bolting. I am not that bad, honest, but it relaxed the atmosphere somewhat as I took my seat and waited for the bad news.
Actually, she was lovely.
Chatting away as she gently probed and checked, and as our appointment with our previous dentist would have been yesterday, we have kept up with our regular six monthly check ups.
Magic.
No fillings, no descale and polish, no loose teeth.
Hubby got the same seal of approval, and it will be March before we see her again.
